Individual Nutrition Counseling

Individual nutrition counseling is as easy as 1-2-3.  We start with a foundation of healthy habits based on your needs and, together, we build a path forward to reach your nutrition goals.

The core of our work will be about how to get that food onto your plate. We will develop strategies to plan your week, shop, stock your pantry, prep, and batch cook. All of this with the support of recipes, online journaling, and meal plans curated by Registered Dietitians.

COVID Protocol

Due to current public health concerns surrounding COVID 19 nutrition consultations will be virtual until further notice.  I recommend that you reach out to your provider to confirm that telehealth is a covered benefit prior to our visit.

 

The great news is that telehealth is a great way for us to share information, explore the products in your kitchen right now, and build a practical plan forward, all from the comfort of your home.

1 Hour Meeting
Initial Assessment 

In our first session, we will discuss your eating habits, your health concerns, and identify barriers. We will talk about what you enjoy eating and how we can reinvent your favorites to support your goals.

 

Who shops? Who cooks? Where do you eat out? All these come into play when putting together a plan tailored to your life. At the end of each session, you will leave with a list of achievable goals to work on between visits. After our initial meeting you will also have access to online support. Send me photos of your plate, ask for a recipe makeover,  or reach out if you hit a trouble spot in your day.

Follow-up Visits

In our follow-up sessions, we will check in on your progress and continue to build sustainable habits. Planning meals not your strength?  We will find workable ideas.  Don’t cook?  Let’s get you started.  I have easy tips and strategies to get a meal on your table in 30 minutes or less.
